WELCOME TO LILLEHAMMER AND TO THE NORWEGIAN BRIDGE FESTIVAL 2010


 
Enjoy a visit this summer to beautiful Lillehammer and one of Scandinavia’s largest bridge tournaments. This annual event gathers more than 1 000 players and is open to all nationalities.

The festival takes place from July 30th – August 7th and includes a.o. all the Norwegian Championships and several side events with Patton Teams, IMP Pairs and MP Pairs every session. Social bridge every evening attracts hundreds of players.
There will also be held an opening tournament at the Radisson SAS LIllehammer Hotel Saturday evening the 1st of August at 8 o'clock PM.

Who can participate in the tournaments?

Players who are members of any National Bridge Organisation outside Norway can participate in all open tournaments in the festival if they pay the starting fee.

The National Pairs Championship is a closed event.

Only member of a Norwegian club who have payed their membership fees and their players licenses before the start of the Swiss pairs tournament may qualify for the closed Pairs Championship.

For international players this can be arranged at Lillehammer.
Summary: Non-norwegian players pay the starting fee, if they want to try to qualify to National Pairs from the Swiss Pairs there is an extra fee of approximately 70 Euro pr. player paid before the Swiss pairs start.
